In response to the nationwide crisis of the homeless in the U.S.,this united effort will raise awareness and bring to the forefront the alarming devastation of homelessness which is increasing at a rapid rate, affecting men, women, children and veterans of all ages. RADIO ONE DETROIT / MUSIC ONE Stations WHTD-FM HOT 102.7, WDMK 105.9 KISS-FM AND WCHB-AM NEWS TALK 1200 will be broadcasting LIVE from the HOPE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH'S narthex all day on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2008, BEGINNING AT 6 AM. People from around the Metro area are ENCOURAGED to BRING BLANKETS, TOILETRIES, COATS , STREET SURVIVAL KITS, NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS AND OTHER SPECIAL GIVEAWAYS TO HELP THE HOMELESS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.

Hope United Methodist Church is located on the southbound service drive of Northwestern Highway, just east of Lahser Road in Southfield. There are entrances on Northwestern Highway and Civic Center Drive. Our parking lot is on the Civic Center side of the building. Our main entrance is also on the Civic Center side of the building.
