Bishop P.A. Brooks and members of the Church Of God In Christ (COGIC) in Michigan mourn the passing of Missionary Lois Patricia Stewart, an avid church worker, Licensed Christian Counselor and retired Educator and Guidance Counselor. Patricia Stewart worked faithfully in her local church, New St. Paul Tabernacle COGIC, serving in many capacities over the past 41 years under the leadership of Bishop P.A. Brooks. She also dedicated herself to the service of the Lord in Northeast Michigan COGIC the Historic First Jurisdiction of Michigan and Headquarters District.  Friends may visit on Friday, December 16, 2016, starting at 6:30 p. m., at New St. Paul Tabernacle Church Of God In Christ, 15340 Southfield Drive near Fenkell, Detroit, MI 48223. The Homegoing Celebration and Final Service of Remembrance will be held at the church on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at 11 a.m., with a Family Hour beginning at 10 a.m.

Johnson at her passing on Friday, September 30th, 2016. Dr. Johnson was the much beloved pastor of New Prospect Baptist Church for over 17 years, and she will be greatly missed.
