					  <description><![CDATA[We the staff of DetroitGospel.com would like to offer our prayers and condolences to the family of former Detroiter Kayla Parker-Tolbert who passed away this weekend. Kayla was a singer, songwriter, and producer. She wrote songs for Vickie Winans, CeCe Winans, and others. She formerly was a member of Perfecting Church and was the composer and lead singer on "Now Are We" from the CD <b><u>Introducing Perfected Praise</u></b>. She was one of the founding members of the group Special Gift. She did backgound vocals on Vicki Winans' last CD and also on CeCe Winans' Purified CD. She had battled cancer for several years. ]]></description>
