Anthony Howard's home-going celebration was a "production" he would have been proud to be a part of. Friends, family, and others touched by his remarkable life gathered on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at True Rock Church in Detroit to celebrate the life of a truly talented young man. Friends and colleagues from the Gospel entertainment industry included The Convictor, Darius Twyman and Lexi.

Anthony "Antster" Howard

Anthony's brother-in-law, Pastor Johnathon Williams, Sr. represented Anthony's family during "Special Remarks" and also read the "Resolutions"

The True Rock Church Choir truly rocked the home-going celebration with several songs including, a rousing rendition of Donald Lawrence's, "Healed"

One of the highlights of the celebration was a vocal tribute from members of various choirs that Anthony sang in (which included the Murray Wright Gospel Choir,  Koiona, Church of God Mass Choir, Oscar Hayes and Abundant Life Fellowship Chorale, and Darius Twyman and Destiny). Pictured above, Darius Twyman takes the lead on "Center of My Joy"

Another vocal tribute was provided by gospel recording artist, Lexi, who lead the entire assembly in "Be Glorified."
