Chris Jones and the CD Release Skate Party at Northland Skate

Dateline: Tuesday, December 27, 2005, Detroit, MI.

Detroit Gospel.Com rolled through the Northland Skating Rink to talk to Chris Jones about his new CD release. Chris was surprised to see us and to know that Detroit Gospel.Com was aware of his upcoming CD. He said that the skating party was like a “pre-release” to give his listeners a preview of what to expect on the new recording. Chris said, “I just want them to know the new CD so when they hear it being played on the air, they will already have a connection with the music.”

Those in attendance varied in ages from the very young (4 or 5 years old) to the more mature listeners. I asked Chris about the actual CD Release date, and he informed me that it would be late January or early February, but he also said that whichever date is chosen, Detroit Gospel.Com will be the first to know. So we are telling you to be on the lookout for Chris Jones and Word of Praise’s new CD, and as was stated at Northland, let’s continue our support of this man of God. I’m sure AM 1340’s <I>Joy and Jones in the Morning</I> will be rolling with his new music.
