Gospel Today Presents: Praise & Worship Volume 2

The
evening was quite a treat to the nearly packed house at Christian
Tabernacle Church. The funny and talented comedian Broderick Rice
was the MC for the evening. The contemporary gospel group Jes’Us
opened for Lexi and got the crowd warmed up with several of their
songs. Then Lexi treated the audience, which included family, friends,
fans, and well wishers with an evening of great gospel music. We
got a first-hand sample of the new project, which appears to be positioned
to do well. The album includes an all-star cast of guest artists
which includes William Murphy, Kim Burrell, and Dave & Nicole
Binion. Several of the tracks “He Got Up” and “Testify” are
sure to be a hit with fans of Lexi. The listening party was well
attended as many Detroiters came out to show their support for Lexi
and enjoy her beautiful voice. Many in the audience were standing
on their standing feet and praising the Lord for most of the evening.
